The design concept of Piegata staircase is the minimal aesthetic of a single material element. The utmost simplicity of the structural clearness confers elegance to the design.
The staircase is obtained by a corten shaped tinplate anchored to a beam walled in.
The handrail is intended to be a shaped niche in the wall, in which a linear LED is positioned. On the external side there is the protection of the staircase formed by a tubular shaped in broken lines.
The aim of making the staircase a light and suspended element is emphasized in its first step which is detached from the floor.
Here, in this application, the demand was to solve the external connection of an attic.
